Press Contact Software Development Kit: Startly Technologies Releases Docktopus SDK WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, October 6, 2005 - Startly Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of productivity solutions, today announced the availability of the Docktopus SDK (Software Development Kit). Docktopus is a Mac OS X application that allows users to overlay custom badges on their Dock icons. These badges provide useful information and/or additional control over applications right from the Mac OS X Dock. The Docktopus SDK provides developers with information on creating their own custom badges. Developers can tailor their badges to provide new ways for users to interact with applications; greatly extending the otherwise limited Dock and adding value to applications and Mac OS X itself. Developers can submit their badges for review at www.startly.com/docktopus-sdk. Approved badges will be listed on Startly's web site and are accessible from the More Badges button within Docktopus. In addition, Startly Technologies, LLC announced the release of version 1.0.1 of Docktopus. This update includes a new badge magnification feature, additional preferences and other improvements.
