Academic Eligibility Requirements

The academic qualifications established below should be used as a guideline to help determine the eligibility of an institution or individual. The following categories as described below are eligible for academic pricing. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our Academic Eligibility Requirements.

Accredited Schools:
 • Elementary Schools
 • Secondary Schools
 • Vocational Schools
 • Junior colleges
 • Colleges & Universities
 • Scientific or technical institutes

K12 Educators, Vocational, College or University Faculty:
 • Faculty or Staff members of any accredited school
 • Proof of employment is required 

Students:
 • Full or part time higher education students
 • A copy of a Valid Student ID or current class schedule is required

Supervisory Organizations:
 • Boards of education
 • Ministries of education
 • School district administrative offices
 • State departments of education

Hospitals:
 • Hospitals that are wholly-owned and operated by a qualified academic institution

Libraries:
 • All public and school libraries

Museums:
 • Museums that are wholly-owned and operated by a school

Nonprofit Charitable Organizations:
 • Any charitable organization not affiliated with a profit-making company or organization

Religious Organizations:
 • Any religious body considered charitable under provincial, state or country laws
 • Organization’s beliefs and practices must not be considered subversive
 • Congregation members or parishioners are not eligible for academic pricing

Terms and Conditions:
Organizations must be able to show proof of eligibility. It is at Startly Technologies’ sole discretion to accept or decline requests for academic discounts. Academic licenses may not be resold and are not transferable without prior written consent from Startly Technologies.
